JourneyPal Product Pitchdeck

Context
JourneyPal is a case study pitch deck that was produced during my certification course for Product Management Fundamentals at Colab Cohorts.Â
The mission was to identify existing pain points around me and my surroundings and to produce a hypothetical product that had the potential to be developed.
Identified Theme and Pain Points
Theme : Relocation
1. Many individuals, including myself, struggle to find clear and concise information when planning to relocate to another country, particularly regarding visa eligibility and application requirements for themselves and their families.
2. Relocation involves navigating complex timelines, securing accommodations, and understanding country-specific regulations, making the process overwhelming and difficult to manage effectively.
3. The absence of centralized and user-friendly resources often leaves individuals confused and stressed, complicating their ability to plan a smooth and well-informed relocation.
Problem Framing Process | Hypothesis & Validation
I initially hypothesized that the pain points of relocating stem from the difficulty of accessing centralized and reliable information, leading to feelings of overwhelm and a lack of preparedness. This hypothesis was informed by my personal experiences and observations of others facing similar challenges when relocating to another country.
To validate this hypothesis, I conducted informal conversations with individuals who had recently relocated or were planning to do so. I also utilized Facebook surveys within relocation-focused community groups to gather diverse perspectives and identify common struggles. Additionally, I organized focus groups to delve deeper into these experiences, exploring specific pain points such as visa processes, accommodation timelines, and the lack of a unified resource hub.
These validation efforts consistently confirmed that individuals face significant challenges due to fragmented information sources and a manual, complex preparation process. This evidence further solidified the need for a solution to streamline and simplify relocation by addressing these pain points.
